Greg Stark
Chief Executive Officer
Greg Stark serves as the Chief Executive Officer for Accordant Investments and is a member of the board of directors of Emphasis Capital, the firm’s parent company.
Prior to joining Accordant Investments, Greg participated in the formation of a multi-strategy private real estate fund focused on bringing technology-enabled solutions to multifamily real estate. Greg spent over 20 years leading the private wealth business for Russell Investments in the USA, Canada, Europe, and Asia.
Greg earned his Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Manitoba and Master’s in Business Administration at the IMD Business School in Lausanne, Switzerland. Greg has been active in a number of entrepreneurial companies and is on the advisory board of several private companies. Greg is also a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization.
Puja Madan
General Counsel and CCO
Puja serves as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for Accordant Investments.
Puja brings 15 years of legal and compliance experience and has focused on leading the legal and compliance initiatives at various asset managers. Before joining Accordant Investments, she was Counsel at PIMCO, focusing on the separately managed account business. Prior to PIMCO, she was CCO of Gurtin Municipal Bond Management, a municipal bond investment adviser, where she focused on integration related to its acquisition and oversaw adviser and ‘40 Act fund related compliance. Prior to Gurtin she was Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Titan Advisors, LLC, a private fund of funds, where she built out a compliance program and led all legal and compliance efforts for the firm.
Puja holds a J.D. from the University of Baltimore, School of Law, and a B.S. from New Jersey Institute of Technology. She is admitted to the bar in New Jersey and is registered in-house counsel in Arizona.
Garrett Zdolshek
Chief Investment Officer & Portfolio Manager
Garrett Zdolshek serves as the Chief Investment Officer & Portfolio Manager of Accordant Investments and is a member of the Investment Committee. He also serves as the Chief Investment Officer and Partner of IDR Investment Management, LLC, an affiliate of Accordant.
Garrett brings over 20 years of experience in private equity real estate fund investments, consulting, and advisory services. Previously, he held the role of Managing Director for Courtland Partners, Ltd., one of the largest real estate consulting companies in the United States.
Garrett has spoken at a number of real estate seminars and is an Advisory Board Member of IREI. He holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Baldwin Wallace University.
Todd Lockwood
Managing Director – Fund Operations
Todd Lockwood serves as Managing Director for Accordant Investments, responsible for the operational infrastructure and client facing side of the business.
Prior to joining Accordant Investments, he held similar functional roles with CIM Group and Cole Real Estate Investments, primarily working with real estate investment trusts, interval funds and institutional products. Prior to that, he was with ING, a global investment management, banking and insurance company and was responsible for a wide range of financial products including mutual funds, closed-end interval funds, insurance dedicated products and offshore SICAVs.
Todd has been an active member of several financial service associations over the past 20+ years, including the Investment Company Institute (ICI), the Institute for Portfolio Alternatives (IPA) and Nicsa. His service to the industry has spanned committee memberships, committee chair roles and he served on the board of directors of the IPA. He has also been a frequent speaker at industry conferences and events as well as educational webinars.
Todd earned his BSBA in Finance at the University of Arizona.
Michelle Bowen
Chief Financial Officer
Michelle Bowen serves as Chief Financial Officer for Accordant Investments, responsible for the fund and corporate accounting functions as well as managing the relationships with external financial service firms, administrators and auditors.
She brings over 15 years of external reporting, finance, operations and administration experience with investment firms. Before joining Accordant Investments, Michelle was Chief Financial Officer at Spruceview Capital Partners where she was responsible for accounting, finance, tax administration and managing relationships with custodians and fund administrators. Prior to joining Spruceview, she was Vice President of Financial Reporting at Cole Real Estate Investments with a focus on ’33 and ’34 Act fund related reporting. She began her career as an auditor for PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Michelle earned a Master of Accounting and a B.A. from the University of Arizona.
James (Jim) Hime
Managing Director
James ("Jim") Hime currently serves as Managing Director for Accordant Investments. Prior to joining Accordant, Jim was the Global Head of Infrastructure for Affinius Capital, where he led a team in building a business that offered infrastructure investment advice to clients of the company. Prior to that role, Jim functioned as Chief Operating Officer managing treasury, insurance and dispositions functions. His remit also included responsibility for the company’s capital markets group, which sourced and structured all debt financing on the company’s portfolio. Jim sits on Accordant’s Investment Committee and the board of directors of its parent company, Emphasis Capital. He is also on the board of directors of IDR Investment Management, an affiliate of Accordant.
Prior to Affinius Capital, Jim was the CFO and served as a member of both the Real Estate and Infrastructure Executive Committees for the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority ("ADIA"), one of the world’s largest sovereign wealth funds. While with ADIA, Jim was responsible for the legal, tax, and liquidity management requirements of the department, including management of ADIA's existing and new debt arrangements.
Before joining ADIA, Jim was with the Lionstone Group, a privately-owned real estate investment firm, where his responsibilities included capital markets and transaction structuring across investment programs. Earlier, Jim served as senior vice president and head of capital markets at Hines Interests, where he developed, structured and marketed a range of funds that financed global real estate development and acquisition efforts. Before joining the real estate sector, Jim spent 20 years at Baker Botts L.L.P, a U.S.-based law firm, where he became a partner and was responsible for opening the firm's New York office.
Jim received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Texas and his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Texas, School of Law.
Stephen Nelson
Senior Director
Stephen Nelson serves as Senior Director for Accordant Investments. He is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day business operations and key client relationships.
Prior to joining Accordant, he spent nearly ten years with The Wolff Company, an Arizona-based real estate private equity firm, where he was responsible for all investor communication and reporting, marketing and capital raising for the firm’s six private real estate funds. Prior to The Wolff Company, he was with the Bascom Group, a top-20 multifamily real estate manager where he was responsible for identifying and evaluating new multifamily investment opportunities in the United States and overseeing capital expenditure projects for the firm’s real estate portfolio.
Stephen earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree from Brigham Young University.
Adam Liebman, CFA
Executive Director – Investment Strategist
Adam serves as Executive Director for Accordant Investments and is based in New York. He is responsible for working directly with financial advisers, investors and wealth management home offices. He works cross functionally with internal stakeholders across sales, marketing, legal, operations and investments.
Adam is an alternative investments specialist with over 20 years of experience focused on investment manager due diligence, asset allocation, risk management and client service. Adam spent the last seven years as a gatekeeper at one of the largest wealth management firms, handling alternative investment due diligence as well as leading a client service team.
Prior to joining Accordant Investments, Adam held a number of senior roles at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, including managing the investment due diligence teams for liquid alternative investments and co-investments. He was the Head of the Multi-Family Office client segment under the Custom Solutions OCIO team and was the Head of Institutional Investment Sourcing working closely with the firm’s top financial advisers. Previously, Adam spent a decade at the Royal Bank of Canada within the capital markets and asset management divisions as a senior research analyst with a focus on alternative investments. Adam began his career as an investment analyst at an alternative investment consulting firm working closely with high-net-worth individuals, family offices and institutional clients.
Adam earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Boston University Questrom School of Business. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and has the following FINRA licenses: Series 7 and 66.
Blaise Grippa
Executive Director – Capital Formation
Blaise serves as Executive Director for Accordant Investments and is based in the New York office. He is responsible for new business development and client service.
Blaise is an accomplished financial services professional with over 20 years of experience raising capital for alternative and traditional investment strategies, providing client service, and delivering brand awareness across a range of sources including Registered Investment Advisers, private bankers and family offices.
Prior to joining Accordant Investments, Blaise was Managing Director, Head of National Sales for RIA Services at Ascendant Capital, where he was responsible for the strategic vision of the group and positioning the firm’s flagship strategies in private equity and private equity real estate to meet the needs of high-net-worth investors. Previously, he was Regional Director at Invesco Global Asset Management and Vice President of Institutional Investments at JP Morgan Asset Management.
Blaise began his career at Morgan Stanley as a Financial Adviser. He holds a Bachelor of Science in International Business and Management from Manhattan College and has the following FINRA Licenses: Series 7, 63, and 65.
David Crowder, CIMA
Executive Director – Capital Formation
David serves as Executive Director for Accordant Investments and is based in the Dallas office. He is responsible for new business development and client service.
David brings over 25 years of experience raising capital for alternative and traditional investment strategies, providing client service, and delivering brand awareness across a range of advisers including single and multi-family offices and Registered Investment Advisers.
Prior to joining Accordant Investments, David was Senior Vice President for Private Wealth at Voya Investment Management where he was responsible for client relationships focused on fixed income and private equity. Previously, David was Regional Director and Divisional Client Executive for Russell Investments with a focus on raising capital. Prior to those roles he was Senior Vice President and National Sales Manager at ICM Investments.
David earned his MBA and BBA in Finance from The University of North Texas. He holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst designation.
Jeff Gross
Executive Director – Capital Formation
Jeff Gross serves as Executive Director for Accordant Investments and is based in the company’s Scottsdale headquarters. He is responsible for new business development and client service, focusing on the western region.
Jeff brings a wealth of industry experience, with over twenty years in the real estate financial industry. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President at Bluerock, where he raised capital through RIAs, family offices, broker dealers, and the wirehouse channel for closed-end interval funds, 1031 exchanges, and private real estate funds.
Before joining Bluerock, he was the Director of Alternative Investments at Apollo Global Management Inc., overseeing capital raising efforts for three key funds in the southwest region. Prior to that, he served as Senior Vice President at Griffin Capital Securities, LLC from 2015 to 2022 and at Cole Capital from 2005 to 2015. During his 17-year tenure between Griffin and Cole, he consistently ranked among the top three territories and raised nearly $2 billion in capital.
Jeff earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a Minor in Business from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and holds the FINRA Series 6, 7, 63 and 66 licenses.
Dean Borgh
Executive Director – National Accounts
Dean serves as Executive Director - National Accounts for Accordant Investments. He is responsible for expanding the distribution of Accordant’s investment solutions in the private wealth channel. Prior to joining Accordant, Dean was a Principal at Ares Wealth Management Solutions, overseeing Ares' client management activities in the global wealth channel. Prior to joining Ares in 2021, he was a Senior Vice President, Strategic Accounts at Black Creek Capital Markets, where he focused on building the selling group syndicates for Black Creek products and maximizing distribution opportunities for the firm's investment solutions within the independent, regional, wirehouse, and financial institution broker-dealer channels. He has also held senior management positions at Starwood Capital and W.P. Carey, where he developed strong industry relationships and built large distribution groups focused on the private wealth channel.
Dean holds a B.A. from the University of Minnesota in Political Science and a J.D. from Mitchell Hamline School of Law. Additionally, he holds FINRA Series 6, 7, 24 and 63 licenses.
Sean Anderson
Director – Fund Operations
Sean Anderson serves as Director for Accordant Investments and is responsible for servicing client accounts and key operational vendors.
Prior to joining Accordant Investments, Sean spent over a decade handling various operational functions, relationship management and product distribution for several private equity sponsors. Sean was Vice President of Business Development at Kensington Analytics, a tactical fixed income manager. Before his time at Kensington Analytics, he served as Director of Client Services at Ascendant Capital, a boutique alternative investments firm.
Sean graduated from the University of North Texas.
Lauren Ill
Director – Marketing
Lauren Ill serves as Director – Marketing for Accordant Investments, responsible for leading the company’s marketing strategy and initiatives, and accelerating its brand recognition throughout the industry.
Lauren’s prior experience spans global and national corporations within the private equity, commercial real estate, and fintech sectors. Most recently, Lauren was head of product marketing for an industry-leading private equity real estate marketplace where she led deal marketing and launch strategy, new product positioning, corporate content strategy, PR, and investor experience and conversion. During her tenure, she executed on more than 300 single asset and fund investment launches, helping the company grow its capital raised by nearly 4x.
Lauren earned a B.A. from the University of Southern California.
Cindy Krawczyk
Operations and Compliance Manager
Cindy Krawczyk serves as the Operations and Compliance Manager for Accordant Investments. Cindy is responsible for coordinating day-to-day operations, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory compliance, and acting as a key liaison between internal teams and the Board of Directors to facilitate smooth communication and operational efficiency.
Prior to joining Accordant Investments, Cindy spent 14 years working in the NFL. As the Publicity Manager for the San Francisco 49ers, Cindy handled player appearances and worked with local and national media to promote NFL initiatives and community outreach. She also worked closely with Football Operations to advance road games, coordinating logistics for the traveling team, staff, media, and marketing guests. At the Arizona Cardinals, Cindy supported executive leadership as Assistant to the Head Coach.
Cindy holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Utah State University and a Master’s Degree in Sport Management from the University of the Pacific.
